Ingredients

    Taken from about.com.

    2 ½ cups white beans, drained and rinsed, or soaked if using dried
    1 1/2 tablespoons of tahini
    1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon cumin
    1 1/2 cloves of garlic, crushed
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    water

Directions

Blend the beans until smooth. Add the tahini, lemon juice, cumin, garlic, olive oil, and salt and blend until creamy and paste-like. Slowly add water until it reaches the desired consistency. Pour into a serving bowl and eat.

Serving Size: Makes roughly 3 cups or 12 four tbsp servings.
