Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 bottle beer - best with a dark beer (i.e. Newcastle)
    2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
    1 small onion
    6 cup coarsely shredded cabbage
    1 lb turkey kielbasa cut into 2 in. pieces
    1 green apple cut into wedges
    1 can (16 oz) sweet potatoes, drained and cut into cubes

Directions

In large skillet ,over stir beer and mustard over high heat until boiling. Add cabbage and onion, cover, and reduce heat to medium. Simmer 8-10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Simmer less if you prefer crisper cabbage.

Add kielbasa, apple and sweet potatoes and increase heat to hig, bringing the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer 5 minutes or until apple is to desired tenderness.

Optional: 2 Tbsp Caraway seeds
