Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2-1/4 cup flour
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp sugar
    4 tsp baking powder

    1/3 cup butter, very cold
    1 cup milk, very cold

Directions

With the paddle attachment on, put flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in the bowl. Turn mixer to 2 until dry ingredients are combined well. Add cold cubed butter. Mix until butter is pea sized and then add cold milk. turn mixer on low until dough is just combined. (The less, the better.) Replace with dough hook. Turn mixer to 2 and stop when dough forms around dough hook. Place on a floured surface and roll to 1/2" thick. Using a cookie cutter, cut 12 biscuits and place them on a lightly greased pan. Place in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
