Ingredients

    1/3 cup canola oil
    2 cups finely chopped onions
    1 3-inch cinnamon stick
    3 tbsp finely chopped garlic
    2 tbsp chopped ginger
    2 cups chopped tomatoes
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp tumeric
    1 tbsp ground cumin
    1 tbsp ground coriander
    1 tbsp garam masala
    1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
    1.5 lbs of chicken breast, chopped
    1 cup fat free sour cream
    2 cups of water

Directions

pan on medium cook oil, onions and cinnamon for 5 minutes until onions are browned
add garlic for 4 minutes
add ginger, tomatoes, salt, black pepper, tumeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, cayenne pepper and cook for 5 minutes
add chicken and cook for 10 minutes
add sour cream and water and stir well
increase heat to medium-high, when it starts to boil reduce to medium, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
Serve
