Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    4 cups chicken broth
    1/2 cup wild rice
    1 cup brown rice
    1/2 cup barley, pearled
    1 oz (scant handful) shredded Mozzerella cheese
    1 oz Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Bring broth to a boil, add all grains and stir well,
reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until grains are done to your liking adding more broth as needed.
When thick and creamy, and grains are done to your liking, add cheeses, salt and pepper to taste.
Mix well.

    Incredible!
    Loved this! I had to cook MUCH longer (more like 60 min) to get the wild rice cooked (but I live at altitude so maybe that is why) and use a bit more broth, but otherwise made as-is and it was YUMMY! - 1/8/11

    This was good but a little salty- next will use sodium reduced ck broth or only use half broth and half water and see if that works. - 3/15/07
