Introduction

This smoothie is so tasty and rich, you'll forget it's healthy! This smoothie is so tasty and rich, you'll forget it's healthy!

Ingredients

    1/2 cup canned pineapple with a little bit of juice
    1/2 cup frozen mango (I used Trader Joe's)
    2 cups fresh spinach (can sub kale or other greens if you like, I think spinach is the most neutral-flavored)
    1 scoop protein powder (I used GNC's unflavored whey powder)
    1/2 tbsp flax seeds (optional)

Tips

The flax seeds may not blend all the way-- I like the crunch they give. If you prefer, you can use almonds or other healthy nuts and seeds instead.


Directions

Layer all items in a blender, or blend with a hand blender. Blend until mixture is a solid light green color and has a smoothie consistency.
