Ingredients

    1/3c onion
    8tbsp butter
    1/2C. Flour
    4C. Chicken Broth
    3C cooked wild rice
    1/2C. Shredded Carrots
    2C. Cooked diced chicken
    1/2C. Slivered Almonds
    1/2tsp Salt
    1C. Half and Half
    2 tbsp dry Sherry wine

Directions

In large sauce pan saute onion in butter
Add flour stirring constantly until bubbly
Gradually stir in broth
Add wild rice, carrots, chicken, almonds, and salt, simmer for 5 minutes
Add half and half and Sherry, heat through
