Ingredients
-
1/3 cup Honey
1/3 cup Peanut Butter (or almond butter etc)
1/3 cup butter spread ( or 1/4 oil)
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups rolled oats (GF)
1/4 cup craisins (I use pomegranate)
couple hand fulls of slivered almonds (crush as you add them)
I threw a few chocolate chips in too for my boyfriend but these are entirely optional.
Tips
The original recipes I was looking at all called for sugar even with the honey. I don't want to waste calories. Each one varied so I just went in my kitchen grabbed things that seemed good and mixed them up.
Directions
In sauce pan melt down honey butter and and peanut butter. When it gets to a "mini" boil add vanilla. Remove from heat.
Mix together the dry ingredients.
Beat an egg.
Combine everything.
Bake 350* 15min on a 9x13 pan cover in parchment paper (NOT WAX PAPER! OMG! NOT WAX PAPER - I'm choking the smell!)
COOL COMPLETELY.
