Introduction

A very easy dish to fix in crockpot. A very easy dish to fix in crockpot.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb ground meat-cooked
    1 can each (with juice remaining!): kidney beans, green beans, mixed veggies, diced tomatoes, broth (your choice)
    spices of your choice

Directions

Brown meat. Mix all ingredients in a crock pot. Be sure to add in all juices from cans of veggies and beans and tomatoes. Simmer on low till ready to eat or put in pan on stove and cook for about 15 minutes till heated thoroughly. Will make approximately 8 servings of 1.25 cups each

    I have found if you use frozen vegetables in these dishes it is better,fresh is best-since we have to watch the sodium content-we always try to use fresh--if you soak regular beans over night to sub the canned ones-and use bouliion cubes instead of canned broth or make your broth from scratch - 2/22/08
