Ingredients

    1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
    2 cups of water
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (28 ounce) can of crushed tomatoes (no salt added)
    1/2 (32 ounce) bag of Hanovers vegetables for soup
    10 packages Herb Ox sodium free instant broth
    2 teaspoons ground black pepper
    1 tablespoon salt
    1 tablespoon dried basil.

Tips

Hanover Vegetables for soup contains peas, Corn, Potatoes, carrots, Okra, rutabaga, green beans, lima beans, onions, and cabbage. Substitutions of frozen vegetables may require several different bags or substitue fresh vegetables.


Directions

1. Brown ground beef until there is no pink visable. Drain and place in slow cooker.
2. Add water
3. Stir in chopped onion, tomatoes, mixed vegetables.
4. Add instant broth, pepper, salt and basil and stir.
5 Cook for 8 hours.
