    1 2lb. top round beef roast
    1 Tbsp.pepper
    2 Tbsp garlic powder
    8 large carrots
    1 medium onion
    1 packet of Lipton Onion soup mix
    1 can of low sodium cram of mushroom soup


**Soup mixture will be thick. Do not add additional liquid. The juices from the meat will mix and make a wonderful gravy.
*** If you want to do this in a Crock Pot.... add 1/2 cup of water and cook low 8-9 hrs.
******Also fantastic with a head of cabbage cut in wedges around the roast. (put cabbage in at the beginning)


set oven to 350*. Place roast in bottom of baking pan after seasoning with pepper and garlic powder. Slice one medium onion on top of roast. Mix one packet of Onion soup mix with 1 can of soup. Pour over meat. Cover tightly with foil. Bake 60 minutes. uncover and add carrots around roast. Recover and cook an additional 90 minutes until roast and carrots are tender.
