Ingredients

    Dry Ingredients:
    • 2 cup Almond Meal/Flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 pinch cinnamon
    • 1 pinch nutmeg

    Wet Ingredients:
    • 2 tbsp flaxseed mixed in 6 tbsp of water
    • 2 tbsp no sugar added applesauce
    • 2 tbsp almond butter
    • 2 tbsp raw honey
    • 1/4 vanilla extract or almond extract


Directions

1. Preheat oven to 325F.
2. In a small container, mix together the flaxseed and water.
3. In a medium bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.
4. Add the wet ingredients. Mix until a thick and creamy batter is formed.
5. Chill the batter in the fridge for 30 minutes.
6. Using a cookie scoop, drop the batter by rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet.
Bake at:
1. 325F for 38 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
