    2 cups green lentils
    1 cup brown basmati rice
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 cup chopped tomatoes
    1 tbsp ginger paste
    1 tbsp garlic paste
    1 tbsp cumin
    1 tsp tumeric
    1 tsp red chili powder

Tips

Garnish with cilantro and raw diced onion if desired


Directions

put all in slow cooker. Cook on high 3 hours (or until water absorbed)
