Ingredients

4 cups flour
1 dash salt
1 egg yolk plus enough water to make 1 cup. *adjust water as needed.
Tips
I often use the water from boiling potatoes instead of just tap water.
Directions
1) Mix the flour and salt.
2) Add the liquid ingredients slowly. Adjust the water as needed, to create a stiff dough that is easy to roll.
3) Cover the dough with plastic wrap, and let rest for at least 1/2 hour, or until you are ready to use it.
Serving Size: makes enough dough for about 36 pirogis
