Introduction

A delicious meat pie without the unnecessary carbs!! A delicious meat pie without the unnecessary carbs!!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    ~2lbs 10 oz of ground turkey (a little/more is fine)
    .5 lb (8 oz) mushrooms, chopped
    .75 onion (small, chopped)
    2 celery stalks
    .5 lb (8 oz) Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
    4 whole eggs
    .5 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)
    .5 tsp salt (or to taste)
    .25 tsp pepper (or to taste)



Directions

In a large frying pan, brown the ground turkey, mushroom, onion and celery. DRAIN WELL and place in a greased 8x8" baking dish (or a 10-inch pie dish). Mix in the cheese (you could do this before you put it in the baking pan too). Beat the eggs, cream and salt/pepper in a bowl and pour it evenly over the meat mixture in the baking dish. Bake at 350 for ~45 minutes (until it is solidified in the center and browned well)
