Ingredients

15 oz can chickpeas, drained, reserving 1/3 cup water
2-3 Tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup tahini or other nut butter like cashew or peanut
1/4 tsp of: garlic, cumin, salt
pepper to taste
Directions
Drain chickpeas, saving 1/3 cup of the water.
Add both to food processor (or bowl if using immersion blender).
Blend then add the rest of the ingredients.
Cover and store in fridge for up to a week.
Serving Size: Makes 1 and 2/3 cups of hummus or about 13 two tablespoon servings
