Ingredients

    Put wheat berries on to cook while preparing the rest of ingredients. Bulghar may also be used in the recipe insterad of wheat berries.
    1 C Wheat Berries
    2 stalks of celery
    1 tomatoe, or more to taste. Plum tomatoes are good
    1 bell pepper, finely chopped. (green, red or yellow)
    1 peeled cucumber
    2 T olive oil (increase for your taste)
    1 juice from one lemon
    1/4 C cilantro
    1/4 C finely chopped onion
    1 tsp cumin, do not omit this ingredientR\

Tips

Refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving. Best if refrigerated over night.

May be used as a side or main dish.


Directions

Cooking time for wheat berries is approximately 60+ minutes. Prep ingredients and assemble with cooked wheat berries. Add salt and ground peper to taste.
