Ingredients

    Chicken:
    1 bottle of Lawry's Herb and Garlic Marinade
    4 Tbsp Pesto
    5 (1/2) chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces

    Sauce:
    16 oz whole wheat pasta (I use penne)
    2 Tbsp olive oil
    6 cloves of garlic, minced
    4 Tbsp Pesto
    1 cup of chicken broth
    16 oz tomato sauce (2 cans)
    2 cups of whole milk

Tips

Makes 11 1-cup servings.


Directions

Marinate chicken with Lawry's and 4 Tbsp of Pesto for a few hours or overnight.

Cook noodles to al dente.
Pour entire batch of chicken, marinade and all, into skillet and cook chicken fully (the marinade will evaporate/cook down).
Heat olive oil, cook garlic. Add pesto. Simmer in chicken broth until half has cooked down. Add tomato sauce. Then add milk. Simmer for 5 minutes. Toss pasta in. Add flour if it needs to be thickened. Place chicken on top. Serve.



Serving Size: Serves 8 people, 1-1.5 cups each
