Why the vodka??? To help it from becoming a complete brick when you freeze it. You can do the same thing with another 2 cups of sugar instead.

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    Melon, 42 oz (1176 grams)
    Granulated Sugar, 2 cup
    Vodka, 1 fl oz
    Lime Juice, 2 lime yield

Tips

mini chocolate chips can be added in the last 5 minutes of time in the ice cream maker to simulate seeds for appearance


Directions

Puree the melon then add the rest of the ingredients. You can run this through a sieve if you like, but the pulp gives you some added fiber.

After running this through the ice cream maker, you will need to freeze this an additional 3 hours to get it to serving consistency.
