Introduction

A turkey chili with black beans and corn. A turkey chili with black beans and corn.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1.3 Lbs Ground Turkey (or there about)
    1 29oz can of tomato puree or crushed tomatoes
    1 15.5oz can of black beans (rinsed and drained)
    1/2 a bag of frozen corn (about 8oz)
    2 cloves of garlic (minced or through a garlic press)
    1 tbs chili powder
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp tabasco sauce
    1 tsp worchestershire sauce
    Salt and pepper to taste

Tips

Used tomato puree the first time, thought it was too sweet - will use crushed tomatoes next try.


Directions

1. Brown and drain the ground turkey in a skillet.
2. Add all ingredients to a crockpot.
3. Cook on high for 4 hours.
