Ingredients

Five links of Italian Sausage (Publix brand or any other)
One box (26.46 oz.) of Pomi Italian strained tomatoes (or equivalent size of chopped tomatoes)
One bag of Birds Eye Three Pepper Stir-Fry
1/4 cup of fresh basil chiffonade
One tablespoon olive oil
Splash of red wine
Tips
Net carbs per serving are around 5 grams.
Directions
1. Heat a saucepan to medium low heat, pour in the olive oil.
2. Add the bag of Birds Eye Three Pepper Stir fry and a teaspoon of Kosher salt.
3. Cook until the peppers and onions are defrosted and steaming.
4. Add the strained tomatoes, a splash of red wine, and basil. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a very slow simmer and let cook 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
5. Slice each Italian sausage link into 4 pieces and add to a medium heat frying pan. Toss frequently until the sausages begin to brown and add them to the tomato sauce.
6. Let it simmer another hour.
7. Serve hot or refrigerate/freeze in individual serving sizes.
