Ingredients

    4 Bananas
    2 Cups Flour
    1 Cup sugar
    1/4 cup walnuts (half in bread, half on top)
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ginger
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    2 eggs

Tips

abide by the 1-2-3 rule: 1 part fat, 2 parts sugar, 3 (or 4) parts flour, add a couple eggs, bananas, and a leavener. Play with different fats, sweeteners, and flours.


Directions

cream together butter and sugar until fluffy, add eggs and bananas, beating for 1 minute. Add slowly to dry ingredients, stirring until blended (do not overmix) stir in nuts. Sprinkle remaining nuts on the top of the loaf and bake in a greased/ floured loaf pan for 60-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
