The Perfect Soup For When You Are Sick! The Perfect Soup For When You Are Sick!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    10 Cups Water
    1/4 cup salt
    5 Whole Bay Leaf
    5 Star Anise
    1 Medium Onion, chopped
    2 Bone-In, Skin on, Chicken Breasts
    Package of egg noodles (REDE-MADE Noodles)

    Note: I buy these REDE-MADE Noodles from a local store. They are locoally made. If you type the brand in Google, it gives you their Phone Number. Call to see if you can order through the mail. If not, these are just vert thin egg noodles.

Directions

Bring Water, salt, bay leaf, star anise,onion and chicken to a boil. Turn down to a simmer. Simmer for about 1 1/2 hours. When ready to make, boil noodles according to package directions. Put some noodles into a small bowl, add some broth and ENJOY!

    Love this recipe! Although sometimes instead of the anise I use 4 - 5 whole allspice berries. I love this soup for even when I'm not sick. YUMMMYYYY!!! - 12/12/10
