Introduction

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 lbs. Pork Loin Roast
    27 oz. sauerkraut undrained
    2 lge onions sliced thin or chopped
    2-4 TBS caraway seeds
    2 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and sliced or chunks
    1/2 cup craisins
    10.75 oz. cream of mushroom soup
    3-5 cloves garlic sliced thin
    12 oz. lager beer (Carlsburg)
    6 medium potatoes (red bliss or new)
    5 lge. carrots scrubbed, cut in half
    2 lge stalks celery cut up
    No Salt and pepper to taste

Tips

I use No Salt substitute (to taste) as there is a lot of sodium in sauerkraut and mushroom soup


Directions

Brown pork about 5 min. on each side in oiled skillet.
Add sauerkraut, beer, mushroom soup,onion, craisins, salt and pepper to lge bowl.
Place 1/2 sauerkraut mixture in crockpot
Add Pork loin
Place potatoes around Pork Loin and fork pierce.
Add remaining mixture over pork and potatoes.
Set crockpot on low and cook for 8-10 hours.


Serving Size: makes 10 sevings
