Ingredients

    1/4 cup olive oil
    2 garlic cloves
    4 tsps flour (as needed)
    2 cans minced clams, reserve juice
    1 can whole baby clams, reserve juice
    1/3 cup white wine
    red pepper flakes as desired
    1/4 cup chopped parsley
    little bit of lemon zest

Directions

Heat oil. Add garlic and shallot, saute till soft. Stir in flour. Add reserved clam juice, wine, lemon zest, red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 mins. Add clams and parsley. Keep simmering. Cook linguini, drain and pour sauce over. Top with more parsley. Serve with parmesan. (Not Italian to have parmesan with seafood but tastes good.)
