Ingredients

4 Tbs olive oil
1 mid-sized onion, chopped
1 750g package of Pomi strained tomatoes
1 package of Splenda
Sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Handful of fresh basil leaves, chopped

Directions
1. Heat the olive oil in a larger pan. Add the finely diced onions and sauté until translucent, then add the strained tomatoes. Season with sea salt, freshly ground black pepper and a packet of Splenda to balance’ acidity of the
tomatoes.
2.Let it cook lightly for about 15 minutes and add more salt and pepper if necessary.
3. Just before serving, add a handful of roughly chopped basil.
