Introduction

Toss all the ingredients into your slow cooker before bed and leave on the low setting overnight. Wake up to this pudding. I like to add 2 TBSP of plain Greek yogurt when serving. Ingredients

    apples, 2 thinly sliced
    cinnamon, ground, 1 well-rounded tsp.
    salt, pinch
    1/8 cup brown sugar (1/4 c if you don't have maple syrup_
    1/8 cup maple syrup

    almond milk, 2 cups (regular milk is fine)
    oatmeal, 2 cups
    almonds, sliced or slivered, about 1/4 cup
    water, 2 cups

Tips

Add 1 or 2 TBSP. of plain Greek yogurt when serving. (not included in calorie count). I envision this as a great winter breakfast. Cow milk can be substituted for the almond milk.


Directions

Thinly slice 2 flavorful apples and add to your slow cooker. Add cinnamon, salt, brown sugar, and maple syrup.
Add almond milk, oatmeal, almonds, and water.

Cover. Cook on low setting overnight.
