Ingredients

    1 1/3 C Milk
    3 eggs
    1/4 C sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    dash of nutmeg

Directions

Microwave milk in 2 C. measuring container at high until tiny bubbles appear around the edges of the container. Takes about 2-3 1/2 minutes - depending on the power of your microwave.

In 1 qt. bowl, mix eggs, sugar salt and vanilla. Blend in milk; divide liquid into 3 8 oz custoard cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Arrange the cups in a ring around the higher edge of the carousel in a microwave. Microwave at medium to high (70%) until custard resembles soft set gelatin. About 4-7 mnutes. Center will become firm as custard cools. Chill several hours before serving.
