I got this recipe from a computer disc called "1 Million Recipes". It did not have Nutrition Facts. Because of that, I had not had not for a while. My Wife, daughter, and I loved it. 1 1/2 LBS. 93% LEAN GROUND BEEF
1-28 oz. can DICED TOMATOES
2-15 oz cans KIDNEY BEANS, UNDRAINED
1-6 oz. can TOMATO PASTE
1-LARGE ONION, CHOPPED
1-MEDIUM GREEN PEPPER, CHOPPED
1- STALK CELERY, CHOPPED
2 TSP. CHILI POWDER
1/8 TSP. NUTMEG
1/4 TSP. CUMIN
1 TBSP. SUGAR
1 TBSP. FRANKS RED HOT CAYENNE PEPPER SAUCE
Directions
1) FRY BEEF, ONION, GREEN PEPPER, AND CELERY UNTIL MEAT IS BROWN AND VEGETABLES ARE TENDER
2) DRAIN
3) WHILE MEAT IS DRAINING, PUT REMAINING INGREDIENTS INTO LARGE MICROWAVE SAFE BOWL
4) ADD MEAT MIXTURE
5) COVER WITH PLASTIC WRAP AND CUT SLIT TO VENT STEAM
5) MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 10 MINUTES.
6) STIR, REDUCE POWER TO 70%, AND COOK FOR 15 MINUTES.
7) STIR AGAIN AND REPEAT LAST STEP 1 MORE TIME.
