Introduction

My mom use to make French toast with eggs and milk. I was trying to find an alternative to milk, and came up with this.
My mom use to make French toast with eggs and milk. I was trying to find an alternative to milk, and came up with this.

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 cup almond milk
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp almond flour (to thicken)
    4 slices of bread
    cooking spray

Tips

Add a dash of cinnamon or a splash of vanilla extract, if desired.


Directions

Measure out the almond milk in a larger measuring cup. Add eggs and almond flour and whisk together. Pour mixture into a shallow dish. I use a ceramic pie plate.

Warm up pan and spray with cooking spray. Dip bread into mixture and put into frying pan. Flip when browned on one side, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat when second side is browned.

Repeat until all bread is used.

Serving Size: makes 1 slice per serving
