Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    *Homemade Turkey Stock,made with turkey carcass and 4 quarts water
    *Potato, raw, 6 medium diced
    Carrots, raw, 4 large diced
    Celery, raw, 2 stalk, large diced
    small Onion Raw diced approx 1 cup
    Cabbage, fresh, 1.5 cup, chopped
    *28oz Canned Tomato chopped
    *Barley - Uncooked, 1/2 cup
    Worcestershire Sauce, 1 TBsp
    Parsley, dried, 1 tsp
    Basil, .1 tsp
    Salt, 1.5 tsp
    *Bay Leaf, 1 or 2 whole,
    Paprika, 1/4 tsp
    Poultry seasoning, 1/4 tsp
    Thyme, ground, 1/4 tsp

Tips

add salt and pepper to taste


Directions

Bring carcass to boil, then reduce to simmer cook for 1and 1/2 hours. Remove carcass to cool and remove meat.

Strain broth into pot and add meat bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add all other ingredients and simmer for 2 hours.

Remove Bay leaves before serving.

Serving Size: approx 12 servings/ 2 cups each
