Introduction

These are light cookies, about 1/4" in height These are light cookies, about 1/4" in height

Ingredients

    2 sticks Oleo or Butter (easier if butter is at room temp.)
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 cup flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 cup pecans

Tips

Mix the ingredients until the batter becomes moist.
Press into pan. Using saran wrap between rolling pin and batter helps smooth out mixture.
To cut down on calories, one can use oleo instead of butter and 1/2 cup nuts instead of one cup nuts.


Directions

Cream Butter (Oleo) and sugar;
Add egg yolk, flour and cinnamon
Press into long, greased cookie sheet
Cover top with egg whites, sprinkle nuts and press into batter.
