Introduction

A nice hot beverage, for the winter months. A nice hot beverage, for the winter months.

Ingredients

    8 cups apple juice
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1 stick cinnamon (2 tsp ground)
    6 whole cloves (1/2 tsp ground)

Tips

For a party... once the cider is warm, this can be kept in a smaller size slow cooker, to keep it hot. Just set the slow cooker to keep warm.


Directions

1) Place the apple juice, sugar, and spices into a large pot.
2) Stir the cider to dissolve the sugar. Bring to a boil, and then lower the heat. Simmer for 10 minutes.
