Ingredients
-
2 sticks butter (I often use 1.5 and it's fine)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbs water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
4+ cups flour
Add up to 1 Tbs vanilla extract if desired (is accounted for in nutritional info)
Tips
Cookies taste best when rolled flat; "droplets" seem too thick and somehow don't taste as good
Directions
Preheat oven to 375*F
Cream together butter and sugar. Heating butter in a microwave may make this step easier.
Add eggs, water, salt, and vanilla extract (optional).
Beat, then add baking powder. Add in flour gradually until dough is manageable for rolling.
Roll dough out and use desired cookie cutters.
Bake for 8-10 minutes; be sure to keep an eye on them so they don't burn!
Serving Size: 1 cookie (makes approximately 50/batch)
Number of Servings: 50
