Ingredients

    6 - 8 ounces Steak (leftover from yesterday's grilling), chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped to taste
    12 large baby carrots, cut in thirds
    1 tbsp. olive oil
    1 or 2 medium baked potatoes (leftover from yesterday's grilling, chopped to taste
    1 can each: corn, green beans and petite diced tomatoes - drained.
    1 can chicken or beef broth
    1 can water
    1/2 tsp. each: salt, black pepper, basil
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herbs

Tips

The sodium content this recipe calculates in is lessoned by draining the canned vegetables and using water.

If you do not have Mrs. Dash in your area, substitute your favorite garlic or onion and herbs blend.


Directions

Chop leftover grilled steak, onion, and carrots. sauté in olive oil until onion is almost transparent. Add chopped leftover baked potatoes (with or without skin), drained canned goods, seasoning, and water. Let come to boil and allow to simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Good served with your favorite bread or crackers.
