Ingredients

    3 - 15oz cans pinto beans
    5 shredded boiled chicken breast
    1 large onion (chopped or pureed)
    2 celery stalks (chopped or pureed)
    2 green bell peppers (chopped or pureed)
    2 jalapeno peppers (seeds removed, chopped or pureed)
    2 cloves of garlic
    2 tsp ground cumin
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp oregano
    1/2 tsp cayanne pepper
    3 1/2 cups chicken broth

Tips

Puree onions, celery, peppers and garlic for picky eaters.


Directions

1. Drain pinto beans.
2. Chop onions, celery, peppers and garlic.
3. Mix beans, shredded chicken, onions, celery, peppers, garlic, chicken broth and spices together in crock pot.
4. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8-10.

Serving Size: Makes 10 portions (1.5 c each)
