Ingredients

    16 oz Honeysuckle White, Mild Italian Sausage
    16 oz Lean Ground Beef
    3-28oz cans whole peeled tomatoes
    1 cup Chopped Onion
    2 Tbs Garlic, minced
    3 Mixtsp Mrs Dash, Italian Blend

Tips

Serve with Spaghetti Squash instead of noodles
Cut squash in half lengthwise, remove seeds. Bake rind side up about 30 to 40 minutes at 375 F.
Once squash is done, place in fridge for 3-5 minutes, to cool a bit. Then, with a fork "comb" out strands.


Directions

Combine sausage and beef in a bowl with 1 tsp of Mrs Dash Italian Blend. Mix well, form into 1" balls (makes appx. 40 meatballs.

Layer the bottom of a large pot with meatballs.

Dump whole tomatoes in a bowl and blend with hand mixer until desired spaghetti sauce consistency is reached. Sautee Onion and Garlic with olive oil. Add tomato mixture, garlic/onions and remaining italian seasoning to the large pot with meatballs and simmer on low.

Serving Size: serves 6 (appx 6 meatballs with sauce)
