Introduction
Not going to call it Food Porn, because they don't look sexy. But they taste Darn Tooting Good. I HAD TO put many twist to mine. I didn't make a ton because I wasn't sure how the Olive Oil would work, and I was trying to keep in low in fat. Not going to call it Food Porn, because they don't look sexy. Ingredients
-
2 Bananas
1/4 c 60% Ghiradelli Cacao Chips
2 Tbsp Skippy Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
1 Tbsp Chopped Almond
1/2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (yes I used Olive Oil, not coconut)
Pinch of Sea Salt
Tips
I didn't have coconut oil or vegitable oil so I used olive oil to make my homemade magic shell. It still hardened!
Directions
Line a muffin tin with paper liners. Chop bananas 1" thick. Put 1 tsp of Peanut Butter between two of the slices. Chill for about an hour. Melt Chips and Oil in 15 sec increments in the micro wave, stirring every 15 secs. Drizzle a tsp full over each until chocolate is gone. Smash whole almonds with a mallet in a plastic bag, drizzle over each banana. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over all. Store in the freezer until ready to eat.
Great for a snack. I like them!
