Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 Cup Ketchup
    1 Tbsp. Cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1 lb. Lean ground white meat turkey
    1/3 Cup Quaker oats

Tips

Baking: 400 degree oven, 20 minutes total (165 inside temp), turning and basting every 5 minutes.
Serving suggestion: Split Kaiser rolls with lettuce


Directions

In a small bowl, mix ketchup, cider vinegar, worchestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and hot pepper sauce. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, oats, and half of ketchup mixture (reserve the rest for basting). Form into 4 equal patties.
Coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting grill. Grill patties, covered, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side (until meat thermometer inserted into the center of patty reads 165), basting occasionally with reserved ketchup mixture.
