Ingredients

    1 large bunch kale, torn into bite-sized piece (Remove thick stems as they become rock hard in dehydrator.)
    1 large red bell pepper
    1 cup raw cashews
    2 TBSP nutritional yeast
    1 TBSP coconut oil
    ½ tsp sea salt (flavored salts are fun!)
    1/4 cup water

Tips

This recipe could probably be made using a convection or regular oven on the lowest temperature.


Directions

Blend all ingredients except kale in blender until really smooth. Coat kale pieces evenly with blended mixture. Spread pieces in single layer on 12 x 12 dehydrator sheets (usually 2). Dehydrate at 110 until crispy, usually about 8 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 12 servings, 1/2 cup each.
