Ingredients

1 box Great Value Thick and Creamy Macaroni & Cheese
Great Value Whole Wheat Elbow Pasta, 1 1/4 cup
Milk, fat free, Great Value, 1 1/4 C.
Butter, unsalted, 2 tbsp
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
Great Value American Cheese Slices, 3 slices
Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 3 oz, grated
Garlic powder, 1/2 tsp
Paprika, 1 tsp
Directions
1. Grate cheese before starting, or while macaroni is cooking, to save time.
2. Bring 3 quarts of water to boil, and add wheat macaroni. Cook on high heat for about 4 minutes.
3. Add white macaroni and continue cooking for 5-8 minutes more, or until almost tender. (It is IMPORTANT that you DO NOT overcook at this time, since macaroni will continue to cook during the last step.)
4. Drain macaroni. Turn off heat. DO NOT return macaroni to pan at this point.
5. Before turning on heat again, add milk, sauce mix, garlic powder and paprika to pan and stir until well-blended.
6. Turn on heat to medium and add butter, olive oil, and cheeses. Stir until melted and smooth.
7. Return macaroni to pan and stir carefully until hot and completely coated with cheese sauce.
Makes 6 servings, 1 Cup each.
