Ingredients

2 cans cherry pie filling
Topping:
1 c. pancake mix (Bisquick doesn't come out right; use Aunt Jemima or similar)
6 Tbl melted butter (I use unsalted)
6 Tbl. packed brown sugar
Tips
Great with vanilla ice cream on top.
This recipe can easily be made gluten free or vegan by using the appropriate substitutes for pancake mix (try Bob's Red Mill) and butter (use Earth Balance). Nutrition information would need to be recalculated.
Directions
Spread cherries into 8- 5-oz ramekins.
Combine the pancake mix and brown sugar. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
Sprinkle over cherries.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until brown and bubbly.
