Introduction

Ingredients

    1 can (15.5 oz) Ziyad brand Chick Peas
    2 TBS Chobani fat free plain yogurt
    2 TBS high quality olive oil
    2 TBS lemon juice
    1 TBS freshly chopped dill (or 1 tsp dried)
    1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp smoked paprika
    dash of cayenne pepper
    salt and pepper to taste

Tips

If you're missing the 'sesame' flavor, add a dash of sesame oil. I used a 1/2 tsp of salt to start because I prefer things a bit saltier. Omit the dill and add roasted red peppers for a different take.


Directions

Drain and rinse garbanzo beans. Place in food processor along with rest of ingredients except salt and pepper. Pulse until desired consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasonings as needed. Garnish with fresh dill.
