Introduction

Can't remember all of the herbs & such that went into it. I used the pulp from the cleansing ginger infused drink to assist w/the seasoning. Can't remember all of the herbs & such that went into it. I used the pulp from the cleansing ginger infused drink to assist w/the seasoning.

Tips

None - I just added this recipe so I could add it to my meals way more easily. I added the ham last. I also wanted to add chili powder, cumin, tomatoes and jalapenos; however, as the man does the grocery shopping, I knew better than to ask for the peppers and tomatoes, and also to forgo the additional seasonings. Oh, and yes, I do so like garlic. Add anything else that sounds good to you.

Directions

Cover beans with water, about an inch or more above the beans; soak overnight. Drain, put into large pot, cover with the broth. Add chopped onion and remaining ingredients. Cook on low heat 3-8 hours, or until beans are tender.
