Ingredients

    1 quart whole tomatoes
    1 bell pepper chopped
    3 tsp chopped garlic
    1-2 tsp black pepper
    1 tbsp basil
    1 tbsp oregano
    salt to taste

Directions

Heat olive oil on medium in sauce pan. Add chopped peppers and garlic. Cook for a couple minutes - be sure to not burn garlic. Add whole tomatoes and seasoning. Simmer for a minimum of 30 minutes or up to several hours. If desired, puree with hand blender. Serves 7-can be poured over 1 box (14-16 oz) pasta.

    Very Good
    I added onions and carrots to the sauce and really eyeballed my ingredients. It was great my family loved it. - 1/22/09
