Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2lbs extra lean ground beef
    1 medium onion chopped
    1 Pepper chopped
    Any chili seasoning packet (i prefer 2 alarm chili packets)
    2 cans red kidney beans drained
    1 can Navy beans
    1 TBSP EVOO
    1 8oz can tomato sauce
    2 TBSP brown sugar

Tips

Feel free to add tomato or carrots or omit the brown sugar.


Directions

Brown the meat and drain. Saute the onion and pepper in the EVOO. Put the meat, onion, peppers, chili seasoning, tomato sauce and 1 cup water in the slow cooker. Cook for 4 hours on low.

Add beans (drained) and cook for another 2 hours.

Serving Size: Makes about 8 1.5 cup servings
