Introduction
This is a wonderful drink for parties since it's pretty with the fresh fruit, and the taste is all its own. This is a wonderful drink for parties since it's pretty with the fresh fruit, and the taste is all its own.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
1 bottle (750 mL) dry, red wine (I used Pinot Noir)
1 small apple, thinly sliced
1 small orange, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1-1/2 tsp. Truvia baking blend
Juice of 1/2 a lemon (about 1 Tbsp.)
1/2 cup 100% cranberry juice (no added sugar)
1/2 cup brandy
1 cup Selzer Water
Tips
You can add the fruit to the brandy only overnight and then put the sangria together the next day if you'd like. You can also add another type of liquor such as rum, or use orange juice instead of cranberry juice for a sweeter flavor.
Directions
1. Slice fruit and place in pitcher. Add wine, cranberry and lemon juice, and Truvia and stir well. Add Brandy.
2. Put pitcher in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
3. Add selzer water just before serving. Enjoy!
Serving Size: Makes 4-6 servings of about 1 cup with 1/4 to 1/6 of the fruit
