Ingredients

    Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 4 lb
    Baked Potato (baked potatoes), 4 potato (2-1/3" x 4-3/4")
    Carrots, cooked, 6 carrot
    Mushrooms, cooked, 1.25 cup pieces
    1/2 cup of water or stock

Tips

I think the calculator isn't very accurate because a lot of the fat cooks out, as well as the roast shrinks in size. I started with a 4 pound roast, but after cooking and removing of fat, I believe it is more like 3.


Directions

Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots. Place an even layer of carrots in the bottom of the crockpot. Salt and pepper the roast and then brown the roast on all sides in a skillet. Transfer the roast to the crockpot and then add the potatoes around the roast. Cook for 8 hours on low and add the mushrooms after about 7 hours of cooking.
