Introduction

Great appetizer for Thanksgiving. I got compliments from people who claim that they usually don't like brie. Good with pita chips, melba toast or Carr's crackers. Great appetizer for Thanksgiving. Ingredients

Brie Cheese, 8 oz (1 round)
Ocean Spray Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce, 1/3 cup
Brown Sugar, 6 tsp (2 tbsp) packed
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
Nutmeg, ground, .13 tsp (1/8 tsp)
    Pecans, .25 cup, chopped
Orange Zest, .5 serving (1 tsp)

Tips

I've also used tangerine zest and it gives it a little more zip.

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place brie in round ceramic baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix cranberry sauce, vanilla, brown sugar, nutmeg and orange zest. Stir until well-blended. Pour mixture on top of brie and sprinkle with pecans. Place in oven and bake for 8-12 minutes (until it's bubbly). Remove and serve while hot.
