Introduction

I had some Roma Tomatoes I needed to use, so I decided to make a Tomato Soup I had some Roma Tomatoes I needed to use, so I decided to make a Tomato Soup
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    360 g Tomatoes
    400 ml Water
    60 g Onion
    1/4 tsp NoSalt
    1 Tbsp GEFRO
    1/4 cup uncooked Rice
    2 Tbsp Butter
    2 Tbsp Flour

Directions

Wash, peel and cut Tomatoes, chop Onion.
Heat Water to boiling and add Tomatoes and Onions with the salt (or NoSalt). Bring to a boil and simmer until tomatoes are done. Strain and puree the Tomato Onion Mixture, return to liquid.
Melt the butter in a heavy pot, add the flour and brown lightly. Add the Tomatoes and Onions back to the pot. Add the Rice. Bring to a boil and simmer until the Rice is tender.

Serving Size: makes 2 servings
